One of the massive meteor shower will happen this week

Public can see upto 120  shooting stars per hour

The Geminids meteor shower has been active since late November, with the shooting stars intensifying as they reach their peak on Wednesday night into early Thursday.

The Geminids originate from remnants of debris left behind by an asteroid known as 3200 Phaethon, completing a solar orbit every 524 days. This compact celestial rock has a diameter of approximately 3.2 miles.

The meteor shower can be observed from any location worldwide, offering optimal viewing during the nighttime and early morning hours before dawn.
